Back from a long break!
It's now the June holidays and I'm sure everyone is enjoying a rest from the hectic school life, and parents should be able to take that long-awaited holiday with the kids now.
A look at what's happened in the past few months:
We went to Riders' Cafe for a breakfast one fine morning and had great fun watching the horses go about their morning exercises. That experience certainly made me miss my horse which passed away in 2001. Needless to say, it was a bittersweet experience. Animals live such short lives compared to us, yet they are so easily contented!
Also attended Audi Fashion Festival. Had a great time there meeting so many upper society people. It was certainly an experience to behold! I really hope that the fashion scene in Singapore will pick up and locals will have more appreciation and love for fashion and art. Right now it's so dead and fashion designers in Singapore aren't given much notice and/or credit! Kudos to Audi for launching such an awesome show and I look forward to more of these in future!
Before going for a night movie! We caught Prince of Persia, and I think it was a decent show. A little too long-drawn though, but a fantasy ending nonetheless. Don't we all wish we could turn back time and right any wrongs?
And finally, a big hello from dear Melody who is now 1 year and 6 months old! She's completely full-grown and she's such a happy dog! Bringing her out to town shopping =)
